７時頃トラファルガー広場に到着。人がいっぱい。
なぜか分からないけど感動しました。しばし黄昏れてました。 明日開催のコンサートはここがステージになるので色々準備していましたよ。
ここのロンドンオリンピックまでのカウントダウンクロック、 裏と表の時間表記が違うのが気になりました。なぜ？
ビックベンが有る国会議事堂、ウェストミンスター大聖堂へ向かいました。 ロンドンと行ったらやっぱりビックベン。立派ですね。豪華ですね。
ウェストミンスター大聖堂も荘厳で、魅入ってました。
そろそろ歩き疲れたので帰ります。 ウォータールー駅からユースホステルへバスで移動。 オイスターカードが使えるのですごく便利。
９時頃ユースホステルにチェックイン。 部屋は２段ベッド３つの六人部屋。でも最終的に来たのは３人でした。
すぐに就寝。
１日目終了。
I arrived at Trafalgar Square in 7:00p.m. There were many many people. I was impressed but I didn’t know why about. I was feeling twilight for the time being. It was getting ready for tomorrow’s concert because it will be stage here.
I was interested in the clock that is counting down for London Olympic. Because it’s indication was different from face and back. Why?
I went to the Houses of Parliament(Big Ben) and Westminster Abbey. Big Ben is well known place at London. It is splendid and gorgeous. And Westminster Abbey is absolutely sublime. I’ve gazed it.
I’ll be back to youth hostel because I was tired. I used a bus from Waterloo Station to the nearest bus stop of youth hostel. It is very useful becase we can use Oyster card.
I checked in at 9:00p.m. There are 3 double decker in the room. It can stay up to 6 people. But finally only 3 people came to it. As soon as I slept.
1st day was finished.
